Frame and Fork

The Gallium frameset was good. The Gallium Pro frameset is even better. Made with a higher grade carbon, the improved frameset is lighter but just as strong. A medium sized Nanotech HM7050 Carbon Gallium Pro frame, fork and seat post weighs 1320g, a whopping 270g lighter than the Gallium frameset. You'll be thankful for that on the climbs.
Argon's engineering is headed by engineers with strong aerospace composite engineering backgrounds. It's no surprise details have been considered meticulously. Stiffness varies throughout the frame. Argon 18's Horizontal Dual System creates a stiffer and stronger lower and frontal tubing, where as the upper and rear tubing is more flexible. This improves comfort, and power transfer.

Group Set

Many of the frame's benefits are mirrored with the group set.
Shimano's 11 speed Ultegra group set is light-weight and engineered with performance in mind. The 50-34 chainset and 11-28 cassette give a good range of gears, well suited for both attacking climbs and fast, flat riding.

Wheels

Lively and lightweight, the Mavic Cosmic 42 Disc Wheelset compliment the Gallium Argon 18 perfectly. A 21mm internal width maximises tyre volume and gives improved control, confidence and cornering grip. The 42mm rim profile and flat spokes have been tested in a wind tunnel to validate the low wind resistance and high lateral stability. Put simply? These wheels allow you to ride efficiently and comfortably with minimal drag.
